By accessing or using SOC Defenders at socdefenders.ai ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.

SOC Defenders is a community-driven platform for cybersecurity professionals to discover, share, and discuss threat intelligence, security news, and research. The Service includes:
- Aggregated cybersecurity news from RSS feeds and curated sources
- User-submitted articles and content
- Community discussion through comments
- Voting and karma reputation system
- AI-generated article summaries
- Threat intelligence feeds and indicators of compromise (IOCs)
Account Registration
To access certain features, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
- Maintain the security of your password and account
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our sole discretion.
User Content and Submissions
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you submit ("User Content"). By posting content, you grant SOC Defenders a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the Service.
Content Standards
User Content must not:

SOC Defenders is a professional community. We expect all users to:

- Add Value: Contribute meaningful insights and quality content
- Cite Sources: Give credit and link to original sources
- No Self-Promotion: Avoid excessive promotion of products or services
- Responsible Disclosure: Follow responsible disclosure practices for vulnerabilities
- No Doxing: Never reveal personal information about individuals
Karma and Reputation System
Our karma system rewards valuable contributions. Karma is earned through upvotes on your submissions and comments. Different karma levels unlock features:
- Upvoting requires 10 karma
- Downvoting requires 50 karma
- Flagging content requires 100 karma
- Additional features unlock at higher levels
Gaming the karma system through fake accounts, vote manipulation, or coordinated voting is prohibited and will result in account termination.
Intellectual Property
Our Content
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by SOC Defenders and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks may not be used without written permission.
Third-Party Content
We aggregate content from third-party RSS feeds and sources. This content remains the property of its respective owners. We link to original sources and do not claim ownership of aggregated content. AI-generated summaries are derivative works provided for convenience.
Copyright Complaints
If you believe content on SOC Defenders infringes your copyright, please see our DMCA Policy for instructions on submitting a takedown request.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

- Defects will be corrected
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOC DEFENDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- Your use or inability to use the Service
- Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Statements or conduct of any third party on the Service
- Any other matter relating to the Service
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SOC Defenders and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of:

Termination
